about

This is a dub of Robert Creeley's recordings when he and Bobbie were in Placitas, as I was. Thank you to Mr. Creeley. The first part Mr. Duncan reads from Roots & Branches (1964).

The long second part in the form of a recorded "letter" he reads from Letters (Jargon 14, 1956) and The Opening of the Field (1960).

Starting in 1963 when I was in a course from Robert Creeley at the University of New Mexico (the same year we both separately moved to Placitas) I copied several of the tapes Bob used in classes and at home. Invaluable experiences along with the real voices.
Portrait of Robert Duncan is by Jess Collins.
