there Bob, there Keith, there Kell, there Ken
there Steve, there Meredith, there Susan, there Bill,
they’re there with the larger world of the dead –
Earth absorbs them all
and our minds kick back to them.

Thinking of Ken tenderly, those years, and improvising at the keyboard. With love. A great poet and comprehensive mind. A great loss.
(My dear friend Ken Irby (November 18, 1936 – July 30, 2015) recently died. We spent so many hours listening to music together and talking endlessly and enjoying wonderful spicy food. And lots of Delius.)
Stephen Rodefer, Poet 1940-2015 a life-long friend

a returning chord generates new sets of sounds . . .
Stephen and I were co-editors at one significant time, friends, traveled together our whole family and him giving reading performances literally across America . . . goodbye . . . peace
And recently Bill Pearlman died so here is a short poem and an energetic piece in vibrant memory always memory . . . and accomplishments . . .
