about

Joy Harjo in a full clear reading of her work in the formative place where she first really took up writing, here in New Mexico. Introduction by Gus Blaisdell, proprietor of the Living Batch Bookstore in Albuquerque. I recorded this on my little Sony Professional cassette recorder.

I apologize for injecting my voice at the end of the recording where the tape ran out but there were only a couple lines cut off of Joy's story/poem "Transformations" so I picked up where her voice left off and finished the few words left so you'll know how it ends. Thank you.
