A Friend Lost . . . & Found: A 3-part musing, keyboard improvisations for Jeff Sheppard.. Our lives crossed meaningfully back in the late 60's then no word for many years but yes, we're gratefully in communication again . .
I met Jeff at a reading at Jabberwock in Berkeley 1967 (Lew Welch, Jeff, Jim Koller and myself were the poets) . . . he and Lew Welch were pals -- then later Jeff showed up in Placitas and stayed for awhile . . . fast forward 30 years . . . after several attempts to locate him I recently found him on (guess what) Facebook . . . kind of amazing . . .
